Whenever we go to the supermarket, the grocery… when we turn on the TV… flip through the pages of news papers and magazines… large screaming billboards – there would always be promotions and advertisements on herbal drugs passed on as “food supplements.” Celebrities make fantastic claims about the herbals they are endorsing. There are estimates that the “food supplement” industry is a multibillion-peso industry.
