Madam President, yesterday I was invited to the inauguration and blessing of the GIG OCA ROBLES Seamen’s Hospital along R. Castillo Avenue, Agdao District. This hospital is established primarily for seaman and their families based in Davao City and throughout Mindanao. Truly this is another landmark for our city as it will bring free health services (from tooth extraction to major operations for free) to our overseas workers and their families who are part of the 85,000 general membership of the Associated Marine Officers and Seamen’s Union of the Philippines (AMOSUP).
